Desktop Eden
A downloadable game for Windows
By Scott King, Stacey Cho, Kelly Zheng
Desktop Eden is a prototype experimenting with transparent windows in Unity and procedural ecosystems
Initially, the player starts with two eggs, which generate two random creatures. Occasionally, the creatures on your desktop breed, leaving behind an egg that hatches upon the player's click. Some creatures may fall into holes and die.
Periodically, new creatures join the environment to enrich the gene pool, while some may wander away to maintain an uncrowded environment on your desktop. Each creature engages with the player through randomly generated dialog boxes.
